This world is a hall of mirrors, a social structure engineered with precision to create Narcissists. It is a self-regulating machine where the most entitled individuals preserve their self-image by offloading their own shadow traits onto those they exploit. Ironically, it is these very Narcissists who label the ever-striving—those truly seeking to become more—as Narcissists themselves. They will never say they are sorry; they see the world and its people as mere instruments towards acquisition, taking their own obvious flaws and falsely accusing others of these same traits.
By their fruits you shall know them. This world rewards those who reward, or truly award, themselves through self-entitlement. They never pay at the back end, though they promise themselves falsely to make good—always justifying, always pointing the finger, afraid to look at the monster they truly are. These are the celebrities and cherished members of society at large. Because nothing good or pure can exist here, society and its advocates act as the Bourgeoisie—the middle-class glue that quite intentionally holds the whole lie together each day. In this system, there are no heroes; there are only the compliant and those cast as pariahs for refusing to play the game of masks.
Root Meaning
Bourgeoisie (Noun)
The original generic root comes from the Old French burgeis (walled city), derived from burg (town). Historically, it referred to the "dwellers of the town"—specifically the merchant or middle class who existed between the peasants and the nobility. In a philosophical and systems context, it represents the class primarily concerned with property values, acquisition, and the maintenance of conventional social standards that hold the "lie" together.
