 The Spirit may have absolutely no commonality to the Body Avatar. In fact this is precisely the means of shame and manipulation. The Ancient Masonic Order turned corrupt along with other factions or keepers of this knowledge. As to manipulate, sell and barter Avatars, Family's, Time and Place.

We are somehow stuck in a carnal world of death and rebirth. High alchemy and science attempts  breaching time and again. The thing is stuck because it had reached maximum saturation many cycles ago. This 'remake' has defaulted back to the mundane.  

 Somehow though consciousness which knows no evil continues on as sweet pure spirits comingle and coalesce.
