To say "you are as rare as a bird" means nothing to people, in fact it may sound like a put down? However no human ever comes close to the power, ability and Purity of a single bird.
If I say you are as rare as a diamond. This may sound like a complement however diamonds are common, much more common than people think.
Working past what is commonly thought, that is the goal.
