EPL- INFORMATION FOR YOUR BUILDING SOUL

DNA contains two strands of nucleotides linked together by chemical bonds. Each nucleotide contains a phosphate, deoxyribose (a sugar), and one of four nitrogen-containing bases—adenine (A), guanine (G), cytosine (C), or thymine (T). The bases of one strand are linked to bases of the second strand. Because of their structures, adenine can only pair with thymine, and cytosine can only pair with guanine.
