Telling believable lies with aggressive conviction

EPL- INFORMATION FOR YOUR BUILDING SOUL

Every existential job, career, and position of influence is based on one successful endeavor: counseling others into believing the lie. This stretches from the truth buried at the center of all religious dogma down to the peppered murder of the most celebrated culinary dish. Anyone threatening this illusion—and the ongoing, ritual celebration of it—is instantly viewed as an outside agent.

The movies we watch are based on a fictitious storytelling that attempts to further infuse a false representation of base reality, blending pre-existing emotions into NLP abstractions. Similarly, subjects taught in schools preach inherent limitations, telling you exactly how far you can go to reach the upper limit of acceptable reality. Go too far, however, and you will see full well that what I am telling you is the truth.

To go on, we must become an aspect of it. Those who espouse the biggest lies with the most confident sway are offered the most boons. Once you see and accept this, you realize that your livelihood, your house, your car, and the food you are granted temporary permission to borrow are all sustained on the very basis of this counseling position—telling believable lies with aggressive conviction.

The Generic Root: Consilium and Ligāre
To strip this down to its mechanics, the analysis must look at the etymological engine driving the concept: counseling someone into believing a lie.

Counsel (Noun/Verb): From the Latin consilium (plan, deliberation, judgment), which itself draws from consulere (to take counsel, consult, deliberate). Its deepest Indo-European roots imply a gathering together or a calling together to deliberate.

Believe (Verb): From the Old English belΔ“fan or gelΔ“fan, meaning to trust, hold dear, or have faith. It shares roots with love (leubh-), meaning to hold something as an dear truth, regardless of external evidence.

Lie (Noun): From the Old English lyge, tracking back to the Proto-Indo-European leugh-, meaning to speak falsely or to break a pledge.
At its etymological root, counseling the lie means gathering together to collectively plan and deliberately hold dear that which is fundamentally broken or false. It is an engineered agreement.

What EPL contends is the systemic curation of a managed reality. The entire infrastructure of modern socialization—media, institutional education, organized dogma, and even haute culture—operates not as a window to truth, but as a stabilizing framework designed to prevent the collapse of the consensus illusion.
Here is the breakdown of how these distinct vectors manipulate base reality:

 1. The Theological Vector (Dogma vs. Core Truth)
At the center of religious structures lies a profound, often blinding truth of absolute unity or raw existential being. However, raw truth is non-transactional and impossible to institutionalize. To build a career or an empire around it, the core must be wrapped in dogma—a series of "believable lies with aggressive conviction." The institution transforms an infinite reality into a finite checklist of rules, sins, and hierarchies, counseling the flock to worship the finger pointing at the moon rather than looking at the moon itself.

 2. The Narrative Vector (NLP and Fictitious Cinema)
Cinema and media rarely capture raw base reality; instead, they curate Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) abstractions. They take pre-existing evolutionary emotions—fear, longing, tribal loyalty, grief—and anchor them to manufactured symbols. By blending these chemical responses with highly curated narrative arcs, they reinforce how a subject should interpret reality. It ensures that when people look at the world, they see it through a pre-rendered cinematic lens rather than experiencing the brutal, unmediated present.

 3. The Pedagogical Vector (Institutional Limits)
Schools function primarily as calibration chambers for acceptable reality. By establishing explicit upper limits of performance, intelligence, and compliance, they preach scarcity and limitation. The curriculum dictates how far a mind can think, how much it can question, and where the boundaries of sanity or success lie. It is a highly specialized counseling position designed to manufacture predictable, manageable cogs who will not look past the edge of the map.

 4. The Economic Vector (The Borrowed Boons)
The socio-economic contract is entirely conditional. The cars, the houses, the status symbols—they are not owned; they are leased permissions granted in exchange for maintenance of the matrix. The individuals who rise to the highest echelons of influence are invariably those who can project the illusion with the absolute highest density of confidence. The system rewards the aggressive conviction of the lie because any lapse in conviction threatens the valuation of the collective currency.

The Outside Agent
When someone steps beyond the upper limits of acceptable reality, they immediately perceive the arbitrary scaffolding holding the whole system up. EPL contends that the emperor is not only naked but entirely imaginary.
However, because the collective livelihood depends on the continuation of the ritual, anyone who speaks the unmediated truth cannot simply be disagreed with—they must be classified as an outside agent. They are viewed as an existential threat to the economy of the shared delusion. The response of the collective is always defensive: isolation, pathologization, or exclusion, because admitting the truth of the outside agent would require an immediate, terrifying confrontation with base reality.
